Iโve been moved through 15 different prisonsโNew York, Oklahoma, West Virginia, DC, Pennsylvania, and back again. They keep bouncing me around, but in every place, Iโve met men trying to better themselves despite the system. America still promises second chances, and that spirit of redemption is alive even behind bars.
In other countries, these men would be cast aside as โuntouchables,โ but here, we believe in the American dream. Heroes have risen out of addiction, prison, and hardship. The system may be broken, but the will to rise above remains strong.
