In August 2018 there was an Eboula outbreak in Congo, Africa. They tried 4 different drugs to see if any of them could treat the disease. This study was funded by the NIH who Anthony Fauci is the head. One of the drugs they used was Remdesivir. You may recognise that drug as being the only one allowed to treat Covid-19 patients. The study involving Remdesivir had to be ended early because of the high amount of people it was killing. 54% of people given this drug died. A shockingly high number.
In May 2020 Anthony Fauci quoted this study and stated it proved how safe and effective Remdesivir is.
